Liberty Bistro at Le District in Battery Park City, Manhattan is a repeat destination when we’re downtown. It is located within walking distance of top NYC attractions (including views of the Statue of Liberty, The Battery, Seaglass Carousel, Charging Bull, Oculus Center, 9/11 Memorial & Museum, Staten Island Ferry Terminal), the food is reliable, and bonus points for interesting adult beverages.
This is not your average NYC patio. The patio is off the street and spacious, and has view of the Hudson and New Jersey. In addition to the patio during the summer, I highly recommend you visit this location in the winter. Brookfield Place is incredibly entertaining during the holiday season.
We typically order a burger and a side of berries for the kids. The burger is good, but on the thick side for kids. The fries are above average. The berries are plump and fresh.
Little tried his first oyster here when he was around 2. Much to the surprise of all at the table … his response was “good!”
